Cookie Policy.
What cookies and similar technologies caven.com uses, what they do, and how to control them.

What cookies are.
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to remember things between visits. caven.com uses remarkably few of them — for ordinary visits, none at all.
What we use.
Essential — browsing caven.com sets no cookies. If you sign in as staff, WordPress stores session cookies that keep you logged in; those can’t be turned off without breaking the login. If you choose a cookie preference, we store that choice so we don’t ask again.
Analytics — we don’t run any. No traffic measurement, no page-view tracking, no profiling. If we ever add it, the cookie notice will ask you first and it will not load unless you opt in.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on caven.com.
Third-party content.
Our fonts are served from caven.com rather than a font network, so loading a page contacts nobody but us. The one exception is the human check that protects our email addresses from scrapers: if you click Show email, that check is loaded from Cloudflare, which sees your IP address in order to run it. It loads only when you click.
How to control them.
Every modern browser lets you block, delete, or limit cookies in its settings. Doing so may affect how parts of caven.com work. If you’d like a guide for your specific browser, see allaboutcookies.org.
Do Not Track.
caven.com respects browser-level “Do Not Track” signals where it can. We do not load third-party advertising trackers in any case.
Changes to this policy.
We update this policy when our cookie use changes. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
