Santa Arrived Early at Sam Houston Elementary School
Dallas, Texas – December 17, 2021 – Students at the Personalized Learning Preparatory at Sam Houston Elementary School received a surprise visit from Santa Claus during their Winter Holiday Concert Friday.
Hundreds of toys, goodie bags, and more were provided to students and faculty members through money raised from Cassie Nova’s Freakmas Fundraiser and contributions from Caven Enterprises and Ben E. Keith.
Caven Enterprises first adopted Sam Houston Elementary in the late 1980s to provide much-needed resources to students and faculty. Sam Houston has been in existence for nearly 110 years, making it one of the oldest DISD elementary schools in the district, and within that time, the school has educated some of the lowest income students in Dallas. It has since transformed with the area and evolved into a Personalized Learning Preparatory academy.
